Publisher’s US boss confirms that dev legend still holds post at company
Sega of America CEO Simon Jeffery has clarified comments made this week over the reported departure of development stalwart Yu Suzuki from the company.
Jeffery has now corrected those stories, confirming that Yu Suzuki still holds a senior position at the company.
"I can safely say that Yu Suzuki is in fact still a Sega employee," said Jeffrey in a corrective statement given to Gamasutra. He confirmed that Suzuki "...is a Creative Officer of Sega Corp."
Suzuki’s last known credit was on Sega Race TV, a late 2007 arcade board-based racing title.
