EA has announced that The Sims 3 will be released globally on February 20th, on PC and via digital download.
The publisher confirmed at the Leipzig Game Convention this morning that a Collector's Edition will also be in stores on the same date. The limited edition SKU will include the full game along with additional collectable The Sims merchandise and a bonus in-game Italian-Style Sports Car, which is unavailable elsewhere.
"I'm excited to get the next-generation flagship PC game from The Sims Label, The Sims 3, into player's hands worldwide on February 20th," said Rod Humble, head of The Sims Studio.
"The Sims 3 Collector's Edition, launching on the same day, will offer a very special Sims experience to our loyal players."
