Microsoft reassures fans that episodes still on track for original release window
GTA IV fans, breathe easy: Microsoft has confirmed that its exclusive downloadable content for the all-conquering Rockstar title is still on track for an autumn release.
In a statement to preview its Leipzig Game Convention line up, the platform holder said:
“In autumn there will be news from Liberty City; the first episodes of GTA IV will be available for download exclusively on Xbox LIVE, underlining Xbox 360’s leadership role in the field of digital entertainment.”
It is rumoured that Microsoft paid Rockstar in excess of £50 million for the exclusive rights to the DLC.

Re: add
erm....so what date is it coming if it's set in stone. "Still on track for Autumn..." seems rather vague.
Re: Re: add
50 million!!! Hope it's worth it.
Re: Re: Re: add
It was $50,000000 US not the same as UK pounds, which is only half that at current exchange rates.
Re: Re: Re: Re: add
Yeah so about £25m, I mean that's a shed load of money, but it's going to probably sell for 1200 MS points, So what's that? Around £8-£10? I guarantee MS will make there money back on it.
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: add
who cares, had GTAIV on ps3 & sold it while i could still get my money back. IMHO MGS4 is the much better game. After playing thru metalgear I went back to COD4 a much better player for some reason.
