Ubisoft has opened a new business office in Warsaw, Poland.
Edge reports that the HQ will focus on growing the firn’s market share in Eastern Europe.
The publisher announced the news at Leipzig Games Convention yesterday.
Ubisoft Eastern Europe export area manager Rose-Marie Nargaud will head up the office.
"Opening an office in Poland is a strategic decision for Ubisoft," said Alain Corre, Ubisoft’s executive director EMEA.
"Our vision is to ensure our presence in the most important markets and that we remain close to our consumers. The Eastern Europe market has the potential to become a key market for videogames and Poland represents a major part of this potential, with a rapidly growing console install base."
