Screen Digest claims that publishing duo account for 75 per cent of all Q3 releases on next-gen consoles
As part of its new report on what’s in store for the games industry for the remainder of the year, analyst firm Screen Digest has claimed that global publishing giants EA and Activision-Blizzard will account for 75 per cent of all releases on Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii this Q3.
EA currently has 21 releases pencilled in for Q3, with Activision-Blizzard just behind with 19 planned titles.
The pair will also be behind 40 per cent of releases this Q4.
In addition, Screen Digest points out that whilst many publishers will be focusing their releases in Q4, the aforementioned duo are also putting plenty of effort into beefing up their Q3 release schedules.
