French retailer suggests that Sony is preparing LBP hardware bundle – but will it be heading to the UK?
After the disappointing news that the recently unveiled Gran Turismo 5 Prologue and Blu-Ray movie PS3 bundles will not be crossing the Channel to hit UK retail, French retailer FNAC has listed a LittleBigPlanet PS3 bundle on its web site.
The pack contains a new 80GB PS3, one rumble-enabled Dualshock 3 joypad and the usual cabling. It also cites a release date of November 5th – two weeks after the current LittleBigPlanet release date.
MCV has contacted Sony about the bundle, and about the possibility of a UK release – however, with recent comments from SCEE claiming that “the UK does not generally offer hard bundles”, retailers should not hold their breath.
