Monolith Soft’s perennially delayed Wii title gets UK release date out of the blue
Many had presumed that the game had been canned following a long period of indefinite delay, but Nintendo Europe has out of the blue announced that Disaster: Day of Crisis will be released in the UK on October 24th.
The game, which is being developed by Xenosaga and Baten Kaitos studio Monolith Soft, sees protagonist Raymond Bryce take on the might of a global terror organisation in the midst of a backdrop of natural disasters that includes floods, earthquakes and hurricanes.
Day of Crisis is more than a little reminiscent of Irem’s PS2 oddity SOS The Final Escape. It should also not be confused with Ubisoft’s upcoming I Am Alive.
