Advanced audio package heading to Nintendo’s popular handheld

The functionality of the DS looks set to be expanded once again with the news that leading music synthesizer company is to release a powerful software package on the machine, entitled Korg DS-10.

The software, which has been designed for use by both professionals and amateur’s, will allow musicians to improvise and record their own music. It will make full use of the console’s touch screen

Korg DS-10 will be released in the UK on October 10th. The title will allow users to save up to 18 different sessions, and allows for wireless connections between users.

Nintendo Europe’s MD of marketing and PR Laurent Fisher said of the upcoming title: “Korg has been at the heart of electronic music for many years and we are very pleased to be able to offer this new creative platform to Nintendo DS users.

"Korg DS-10 highlights the versatility of the console as music fans to take their creativeness out of the studio, as well as being accessible to all electro music lovers with it’s great value.”

And by 'revealed' I presume you mean 'confirmed for release in the UK after product, which was known about for some time, has already been released in Japan to much success'
