Previously download-only titles to be bundled onto disc and shipped to retail
As much as Sony is pioneering the release of full-price titles via its own PSN network, it is also going to great length to preserve its presence at retail – as can be seen by the news that it is to release many of its downloadable PSP titles on boxed UMD discs.
Siliconera claims that the firm will release two boxed compilations in October, each of which includes three Sony-published PSN titles.
The PlayStation Network Power Pack will include the uniquely compelling flOw, rhythm action title Beats and shooter Syphon Filter: Combat Ops. The PlayStation Network Puzzle Pack includes Go! Lemmings, Go! Sudoku and Go! Puzzle.
No price has yet been confirmed.
