GTA IV episodic content, Borderlands, GTA ChinaTown Wars and Mafia 2 also confirmed for 2009
Take Two has confirmed that the highly anticipated BioShock 2 will arrive during the firm’s 2009 fiscal year, which begins November 1st.
There is currently no confirmation as to which platforms the game will appear on, with the PS3 version of the original BioShock due out next month.
Take Two also confirmed that Borderlands, GTA ChinaTown Wars, GTA IV episodic content and Mafia 2, will also arrive during the 2009 fiscal period.
“2K’s key AAA titles will include Borderland, Mafia 2, BioShock 2, Champions Online, and a full roster of sports titles,” said CFO Lainie Goldstein during the earnings call. “2K play will publish additional Nick Junior products. We’ll be expanding our downloadable content business as well as the revenue streams and expect to see growth in the Asia Pacific market as the result of our entry into that region.”
