Full Instrument edition drops to £109.99; priced at €139.99 in Europe
EA has cut the price of the full instrument edition of Rock Band – ahead of the game’s sequel’s release in September.
The Instrument Edition of Rock Band will now retail for €139.99 in Europe and £109.99 in the United Kingdom on Xbox 360.
The price will also apply to the new PS3, PS2 and Wii versions of the game, which are released this week.
The news comes months after Rock Band’s controversial release, when the full instrument pack cost UK consumers a whopping £180.
In addition, EA has announced that Rock Band’s full North American library of more than 200 songs is now available in Europe on 360 and PS3.

Good Work EA!
Well done to all concerned at Electronic Arts! Taking £20 off the RRP is sure to make up for treatment of European customers!
Re: Good Work EA!
Seconded, a good move ahead of release. Now I just need somewhere to put them on the shop floor :D
Re: Re: Good Work EA!
Still doesn't seem to be much cheaper online. TCO is still around £140, which is what most online retailers were selling it for anyway :(
Re: Re: Re: Good Work EA!
does everyone realise you can buy an actual guitar/drum kit (either or) for a similar price. Ultimately much more fun and infinitely more rewarding.
Just a thought.
Re: Re: Re: Re: Good Work EA!
a real guitar or drum kit is only fun if you know hot to plat the things in the first place.
i dont, and have my own guitar(s).
i look forward to playing this with friends and rocking out toghether.
and im glad theres a price drop after how long us poor ps3 owners have had to wait for this release.
ea should be ashamed.
