ASDA to increase non-food footprint

UK's number two supermarket to open five new ASDA Living stores across the UK before 2009

Asda is set to open a further five Asda Living stores across the UK later this year, bringing the total number of its non-food outlets to 21.

The stores, which are due to open in Bristol, Chester, Llantrisant, Teesside and Wrexham, will bring the floorspace dedicated to non-food retail at the UK's second largest supermarket to 200,000 sq ft.
