Why did the programmer have to use the 'M' word?
Guys in sheets could be ghosts...or anything?
As for putting in Allah, well that's just controversy for its own sake. Why couldn't the End Boss have been Salmon Mustdie, or something?

Courting headlines at what cost?

Absolutely genius in bringing them some (read that as a great deal of) attention, a viral marketing wet dream - now it's to be seen if the writer warrants further investigation.

Simply put if he's a undiscovered genius of a programmer then he's a clever ****.

If not, he's just a ****.

As an important aside I think it's a dangerous fine line. If it's a joke, it'll be a poor one, hopefully it is and not something more sinister. Lest we not forget how the publisher of some satirical muslim christmas cards and the outcry that that brought a few years ago - fatwa ahoy when your satirical target has fundementalists that believe that we're all infidels in the west anyway.

The nerves are too raw on this issue for far too many people and there is a risk that even in jest you drive a bigger wedge between muslim and christian factions.

Whilst many christians, me being one of them, can laugh at their own religion and point at its many failings - I mean you don't see us all picketing multiplex cinemas do you when 'Bruce almighty' hit the screens - it's important to realise that projecting your own throw away beliefs when it comes to your own religion doesn't always sit well when you apply it to others.

Recently, the contraceptive my wife and I were using failed and we made the decision to seek out the Morning After Pill from a pharmacy, it was a Sunday and not wanting to wait until Monday to see our GP and further increase the risk of the pitter patter of another baby koti we went off to our local ASDA to get it sorted out.

You cannot imagine our anger when we were told by the Muslim Pharmacist that he wouldn't issue us with one because of his Moral and Religious' beliefs.

My wife exploded - indignant that anyone who is charged with the nations health could make a decision that impacted so heavily on us as a family. She explained that we were parents to two children, ten and eight. That she wasn't some little tart who'd gone out on the pull on a Saturday night, drunk one too many WKDs and decided to use the MAP as last minute contraception. She'd had to come off of The Pill due to high blood pressure and one of Durex's finest had decided to go awol during our night of passion - all this to no avail - he was steadfast and wasn't going to issue it on his moral grounds.

I left it to the last moment, giving him chance to relent and then put it to him. That enforcing muslim beliefs on a christian family in a christian country only further aggrivates a current climate of distrust between two religions now occupying a common country and far be it from healing rifts, drove a bigger wedge between two communties.

He looked embarrased as we left to visit the drop in centre, where a muslim doctor prescribed it for her - and there we have it, not even two extremes but two different notches on a whole spectrum of cultural differences.

So, my point being, it might all be a bit of a laugh but to some people it's deadly serious and maybe we should take a little bit of thought before we light the blue touch paper on yet another generation of cultural divides.

The divide is the fault of those who believe -- as Muhammad preached and practiced -- that it is their Allah-given duty to enslave or slaughter those who refuse Islam.

We're not talking about tourists here. We're talking about people who don't share the same religion. That doesn't mean that they're not entrenched in society with work, financial burdens, friends and most importantly generations of family.

It's incredibly churlish just to say leave if you don't like it.

There are things I hate about this country but I can't just up sticks, pack my bags and stick two fingers up to the country.

It aint that easy.

Loving the 'keep it shut' comment.

It's not that they hate you being German or Indian - it's your charming way with words.
