Wrath Of The Lich King will hit North America and Europe on November 13th

Activision-Blizzard has confirmed to MCV that long-awaited World Of Warcraft expansion, Wrath Of The Lich King, will be released in North America and Europe on November 13th.

The game will also be unleashed in Mexico, Argentina, Chile, and Russia on the same date.

The title will hit stores in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand a day later, whilst consumers in Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau will be able to buy the title on November 18.

“We’re looking forward to launching Wrath of the Lich King and finally giving World of Warcraft players a chance to take on Arthas and his minions,” said CEO of Blizzard Entertainment Mike Morhaime.

“Until then, we’ll continue to refine and playtest the expansion content to make sure it provides a highly polished and entertaining experience.”

with all the recent issues with world of warcraft, and the fact that patch 3.0.1 is not active yet (and the download patch mirrors are faulty for most people trying to download.

this may be to soon a release date, and it feels like they blizzard are somehwat rushing this to mitigate some players going to warhammer online, which is released this coming friday.

im a huge fan of WoW but i just hope they get everything right before release.

I think its patch 3.0.2 that is currently on test realm not 3.0.1, patch came down like a dream for me with the Downloader :)

I am confident that Blizzard won't release before its ready, if its not finished then it will go back to next year like they did with TBC two years ago.
