these are NOT bundles they are just retial price of the console and the game, god Nintendo are being ridiculas here, alot of shops give brain training away with a ds for £99 which we cannot do, but our customers expect us to match this and loose money by giving away a game for free that we had to pay for !

I think these will still pull in the consumer – I don't really care that the price difference is negligible. People that buy Cooking Guide won't be particularly demanding on price - but they will love the idea of buying a single box for mum this Xmas. At least these will get a big marketing push - can only be good for my store.

I can't argue with the choice of games - these are the titles that are still shifting DS hardware, after all - but the prices aren't particularly keen.

Most bigger retailers will throw a game in for the basic £100 asking price, so unless supplies dry up again this year and these bundles are the only way to get a DS, I can't really see the value add.

Although these are clearly over-priced for 'bundles' - and certainly when compared to the previous black DS and Brain Training pack at £110 - it will be interesting to see whether the major retailers sell for below the RRP. Even £125 for a DS and Nintendogs is a semi-reasonable saving.
