Teaser for 360, PS3 and PC title to arrive a day before the official release of EA’s FIFA
Japanese developer and publisher Konami has confirmed that it is to release a demo of the upcoming Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 on October 2nd (this Thursday) – the day before the European release of EA’s FIFA 09.
The demo will offer a five-minute exhibition match with a choice of teams including Manchester United and Liverpool (both of which are fully licensed) as well as Real Madrid, Barcelona and the licensed national teams of both Italy and France.
The game itself promises brand new visuals with remodelled players and animation, enhanced AI, a brand new physics engine and new game modes including Become A Legend, as well as the online Legend mode.
PES 2009 is scheduled for release in Europe on October 17th.

How????
Will it be downloadable for free or in a magazine??
Re: How????
I'm pretty sure it will be a demo for download on both Xbox live and psn, and also possibly in with a mag at some point.
Re: Re: How????
The press release doesn't specifiy, but I'm sure it will be a download available on Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network.

One Day Before FIFA!
Re:Why bother
The game used to be the best but it just dont matter anymore & the Fifa Demo is already out so play that instead its a better game & pes well for me I know I will purchase the game but its not the fifa killa anymore its the other way round for me.
Re: Re:Why bother
I think this years PES will be class, but FIFA is improving every year, so it looks like ill be buying both as I know PES will rule just like FIFA
Re: Re:Why bother
PES 09 scored 88% in PSW, not as good as FIFA which Ihas scored scored 9/10 OPM, 9/10 OXM, 8.9 IGN and 90% in GM. From what I've seen and read PES 09 doesn't differ all that much from 08 in the visuals and gamplay stakes.
Konami, it would seem, have 'dropped the ball'.
Re: Re: Re:Why bother
'Dropped the ball' is a rugby phrase twit, these are soccer games.
