Sam Houser stumps up for Obama

Rockstar co-founder gives $4,600 to Presidential campaign – as Bobby Kotick and Will Wright back McCain

From Developmag.com:

GamePolitics has an interesting post up dissecting the various filings available on each of the presendtial candidates, and has sifted through the Republican and Democrat donations lists to find key luminaries.

Did you know Will Wright was a republican? Does it surprise you that Sam Houser and John Riccitiello were the biggest spenders, donating close to $5000 each to Barak Obama?

Key highlights are:

Nice one on the pics MCV!

Made me laugh!

You should get the picture of Mccain's PA on there.

Y'know, the one where she's holding a rifle in an 'stars and stripes' bikini standing by the pool......

actually..... maybe not.

Can't believe Will Wright is a Republican. Doesn't he believe in evolution and therefore hate the Baby Jesus?

Great photos, McCain looks like he's suffering from RROD! Stay off that Nando's extra hot sauce.

Alex Rigopulos (CEO, Harmonix) $32,900 to Obama

33 grand makes Rigopulos the biggest spender doesn't it?

is that 33,000 an accurate number? last I checked the max that could be donated to any candidate was 4600 and that included 2300 for primary running. Anyone know?

According to opensecrets.org

On 7/7/08, he contributed $4,600, and got 2,300 back the same day (net contribution of $2,300). On 6/30/08, he donated $200.

It would appear he's $200 over the limit for this year.

How this story said he donated $33,000 is a bit puzzling, unless its a bunch of unidentified contributions (contributions under $200 don't have to be identified and the Obama campaign has raked in over $200M on those and refuse to release any data on them. What little some people have found out, they are highly suspicious. Search for "Mr Good Will" if you doubt.)

In 2007, he contribued $2,100.
