wow.... what a surprise, every, year 2000+, person owning a company with a niche or even the slightest hint of exclusiveness that sells sometihng has adopted the 'mainstream or casual gamer' approach to their newest products.. Dumbing down and just watering whatever amusement it had to the real fans. still raring for Gears2 but.. wasnt happy to hear this -.-

very true, why try to fix something thats no broken, no need to try and rebrand here, it will sell millions, im sure this is as big or maybe even bigger than halo, i much prefer this title, think halo is old hat and very dated with no new ideas, gears is fresh and well produced, actually feels like a story also,

The only thing they seem to be targetting the casual audience with is the fact theyve concentrated more on the story this time round.
The gameplay will be just like the first so I cant see how you can say its targetting the casuals just by a better story lol

The above comment is complete twadle. It's depth of story etc that core gamers crave, not the other way around.

its does seem a very strange statement, maybe they think, by calling it a casual gamer title, suddenly more casual gamers will buy it, just seems very odd to me, like Epic had an email from some marketing dik at MS and was told to use this term,
