Manhunt 2 dated for UK

Halloween release date on three formats for controversial Rockstar title

IGN is reporting that Rockstar has dated Manhunt 2’s UK release for October 31st, 2008.

The title will arrive on Wii, PS2 and PSP on the date – which is exactly a year after the game was released in the US.

The game is the edited second edition of the title. Rockstar fought the BBFC in the courts to get the game released, after the body initially refused to classify it for "unremitting bleakness and callousness of tone".

A very good question, if Rockstar has fighted soo hard to get this game released in the UK why don't they spend some time making it for the 360 and PS3 as well? Am sure they could generate more sales but I guess by the time they are done porting it over bigger and better titles will be out by then anyways.

You mean sold loads already with the freeloader than Nintendo's updates have killed? Bet customers love that eh? On the Wii at least.....

You do know that it is against the law to sell a product not rated for sale by the BBFC to a customer ? Its as bad as selling GTA IV to an 8 year old.....
