Im a complete idiot, the original Xbox had more power than the PS2 but due to poor marketing and hardly any games on it the PS2 won the console war for that generation.

Now Microsoft has taken a leaf out of Sony's game and are leading the new generation console war between the two. Shame I just forgot to think before I spoke and am such a fan boy.

It's easy to see why the 360 owns the PS3.
Sony, in my opinion, aren't quite making sense.
The 60GB played PS2 games as well as PS3 games but the 40GB and 80GB versions that followed cannot do that. There might be a reason for this so if someone could fill me in, that would be great, lol. Then Sony don't change the prices on any consoles (might be a little bit wrong) and yet, Microsoft sre hacking the 360 prices down to £129.99 for the Arcade Console. It's really all about prices. If Sony knocked £40 or £50 off their 80GB, people would buy that rather than the 360. My local store has a ton of PS3 consoles pre-owned and yet, the only pre-owned 360's they have are an Elite and a Limited Edition Halo 3 20GB Console.
