Sony confirms title will arrive some time in the week commencing November 3rd in Europe

PS3 platform holder Sony has announced that LittleBigPlanet will be released in Europe, the Middle East, Australia and New Zealand in the week commencing November 3rd – meaning a likely UK arrival of November 3rd, VG247 reports.

The title will be released in North America in the week commencing October 27th – meaning most likely October 28th.

It was announced on Friday that LittleBigPlanet had been delayed owing to some vocal objections to use of lines from Muslim holy text the Qu’ran, leading to a healthy business erupting on eBay.

Sony’s statement reads: “We appreciate all the enthusiasm surrounding this much anticipated title and we would like to thank PlayStation fans for their support and understanding.”

I am glad they are managing to turn this around pretty quick.

I was of course disappointed to hear of the delay but am sure they have made the right decision.

A person takes a picture of Jesus on the cross submerged in urine and we call it art (Andres Serrano's Piss Christ).
LittleBigPlanet has 2 lines from a bible in a song, and everyone lose their mind.
We live on a planet that digresses with each passing second. Weak-minded, spineless, illogical buffoons.

The difference is that Sony have to sell copies of their game. Personally I think religion is a bit of a waste of time but if I owned a suit shop and a mormon and an orthodox jew came in I wouldn't be saying that to them directly.
