Shaun White Snowboarding to be made playable at winter sports and music festival
Publisher Ubisoft has become a major sponsor of this year’s Big Freeze event with its Shaun White Snowboarding video game.
The FS04 Big Freeze is set to kick off tomorrow and will run until October 26th, and will feature snowboarders Danny Kass, Scotty Lago and Lucas Magoon, plus skiing stars Tanner Hall, Jon Olsson and Jacob Wester.
There will also be over 20 music acts at the event, including The Enemy and Cypress Hill, and the show will be televised on Channel 4.
“We’re really excited to align Shaun White Snowboarding with FS04,” said Ubisoft’s marketing director Jon Rosenblatt.
“The festival will bring together extreme sports and music and we’re happy to add gaming to the mix. Visitors will get the chance to snowboard for themselves at the event, albeit through the game.”
Shaun White Snowboarding is due for release in November on Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, PS2 and PC.
