Fairly obvious that Fable II took number 1. Surprised at Pro Evo falling below FIFA already. Not too bad a showing for Dead Space, deserves a bit more attention really and at least to be higher than Pro Evo and Saints Row 2. Shows what reputation and marketing does for you though.

well deserved top spot for a fantastic game made me some great sales at the weekend.

Well done to Lionhead studios. Great game. But also I can't help but feel Dead Space should be right up there, it is a great game, better than Far Cry 2 in my opinion. But that's due to lack of marketing/advertising.

Unless every PS3 owner buys the game or they just stick it in the charts at number 1 for the sake of it I just don't see LBP doing as good as Fable 2.

At least Fable 2 is a game you can play instead of a bunch of sock puppets.

I had a feeling Fable II would beat Far Cry but I reckon Far Cry will stay in the top 10 longer, may be wrong. I like the look of LBP but not sure it'll jump in at one :)

Yes I think LBP WILL do as good as Fable 2 - if not not better - and if possibly the only game this-gen with the most creativity & innovation doesn't make it top of the charts then this gen of gamers should be ashamed of themselves!

To be honest no. 9 i haven't been the impressed with Gears of War 2 having only played it for like 15 minutes to me it looks exactly the same as the first one to me. I think Dead Space is a better game then that thus far.

I was so let down by Mario Kart, it just doesn't live up to the fun times I had playing that game at Uni on the 64... Mario Kart drinking games anyone?

ive got gears 2 off ebay, very cheap, i couldnt find it on a torrent, so had to buy the copy, you just need to know how to search for it on ebay !!

YEAH u cant just type in gears of war 2 and get it, but only works if your 360 is flashed of course, but you can get these chips anywhere online and do it yourself, youtube has some videos to show you how

Don't forget Fallout 3, i can see that chart topping if only because it's multi-format. Surely after all the hype LBP must get at least one week at number one. Or maybe not..... poor Larry, that'll make him choke on his rusks.

I think the problem with LBP is going to be that it is very specialist and will not appeal to the mass like a FIFA etc.

I for one am not the slightest bit interested in LBP but im sure there will be plenty of people who are.....
