Xbox 360 version to hit UK on November 21st; Euro ‘launch window’ begins November 14th
EA has confirmed that Harmonix’ instrument-based rhythm-action sequel Rock Band 2 will be released on Xbox 360 in the UK on November 21st – though it looks set to arrive in other European territories earlier.
Though not specific, the publisher’s press release states that the game will begin shipping in Europe on November 14th – though the details concerning which regions will receive the game when are not nailed down.
It was also confirmed that the title will remain an Xbox 360 in Europe during the ‘launch window’, with no dates given for the PS3, Wii or PS2 versions. Also not specified is the price for the standalone hardware bundle, which will not arrive until December.
The game itself will retail for £49.99 in the UK and €69.99 in mainland Europe.
