New edition of Criterion’s racer to include Cagney, Bikes and Party DLC updates on the disc
EA has announced a brand new version of Criterion’s popular Burnout Paradise for both Xbox 360 and PS3 that is heading to the shelves in February next year.
Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box will include both of the major bits of DLC received for the game so far – namely the gameplay update Cagney and the all new Bike patch which bought two-wheeled fun to the franchise for the first time.
In addition, it will also include the upcoming Paradise Party update, which will introduce a number of offline multiplayer modes to the title. On top of that, the Party update will also include a number of gameplay tweaks including the ability to restart races and, on PS3, the brand new Burnout Pradise Network, which enables players to keep track of friends and Burnout news within the game.
Criterion’s senior producer Pete Lake said of the release: “Whether you’re an experienced player or a gaming novice, Burnout Paradise is a game that anyone can enjoy. With The Ultimate Box, we aimed to deliver the most fun, high quality and high value experience possible to players both online and in the living room.”

Need for Burnout
In my opinion this is the worst Burnout game I ever played and to make further cash out of this game they are relaunching it with all the extras, wow just wow.
Re: Need for Burnout
I just hope that one of the offline modes they introduce is the "Crash Junctions" in the Party Crash style of other titles in this series. I play this with friends a lot, but I've had to stick with Revenge because of the lack of Crash in paradise!
Re: Re: Need for Burnout
Yeah, id definitely get Burnout again for crash mode alone! C'mon guys [Criterion!] :)
Re: Re: Re: Need for Burnout
I don't understand rallwright's comment about "Crash Junctions" you've pretty much got that in Paradise, by holding down the R1 and L1 buttons after a crash you can effectively have a crash junction wherever you like. Hitting a bus will give you a single multiplier, hitting further buses as you bounce down the road will increase the multiplier.
