Sexy R&B diva refuses to travel to World Music Awards without her selection of games consoles
Not satisfied with having a luxury jet formerly used by the likes of Frank Sinatra and Elton John laid on for her trip to Monaco’s World Music Awards, Destiny’s Child star Beyonce reportedly recently refused to travel to the ceremony unless she was supplied with a PSP and Xbox (360, presumably).
Slashgamer reports that her gaming needs were at the top of her requirements, stating: “She also wanted 14 seats, including two for herself. And staff were told to give her whatever she wanted – including an Xbox, PSP, jacuzzi and a pizza.”
It’s understandable, of course – the ceremony itself would have felt a little empty with the knowledge that Gears of War 2 has just been released. And what trip is complete without at least a quick dabble on Monster Hunter 2G?

This certainly is a high profile and important validation of our industry.

Purpose? To confirm that girls play games (now there is a surprise), even girls who are stars (bigger surprise still), and then hopefully some of Beyonce's sexiness and glamour will rub off on us.
