Far Cry 2 sells a million

Ubisoft’ free-roaming African FPS epic achieves sales milestone in less than three weeks on the market

French publishing giant Ubisoft has stated that its recently released Xbox 360, PS3 and PC first person shooter Far Cry 2 has hit the one million sales milestone after less than three weeks on the market.

Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot said of the news: “The holiday quarter is off to a solid start with the successful launch of Far Cry 2. The game is well on track to achieve our expectations for the year.”

Far Cry 2 boasts a huge explorable game world set in a war-torn Africa, complete with a 24 hour day-night cycle.

That is awesome. Have many of you played it? I kinda like it, but the way you move and the arm in front is a bit weird.

I played it, Visually looks amazing, and was very impressed. But unfortunately wasn't liking the whole travelling about between missions, It's kind of stop start action. I thought I'd like that kind of sanbox style FPS. But turned out I didn't.
