More talk of LittleBigPlanet on PSP

Rumours return of a portable outing for Sony’s newest next-gen software darling; Media Molecule not at the helm?

With LittleBigPlanet finally out there in the wild wowing gamers and critics alike, talk has returned of the long-rumoured PSP outing for the series.

Acclaimed developer Media Molecule has previously admitted that it’s had talks with Sony about a possible portable outing, but the next issue of US games mag EGM claims to have definitive news of the game.

Kotaku reports that the mag reads: “The LittleBigPlanet universe will also continue to evolve next year with the release of the PSP version. Q-Mann hears it's fantastically ambitious and will further flesh out the PS3 LiitleBigPlanet experience.”

Interestingly, the site goes on to claim that it has heard Media Molecule will not be handling the PSP version.

make sure this one is selling and not being a forced bundle before they invest in another Katamari.

Why would it push the PS3? it's already out on PS3? You've lost me there. However it would make the PSP even stronger than it is at the moment. I think it would be great if this came to PSP. The game seems more suited to portable I reckon.

If this is true it's another reason for me not to get a PS3.
I've got a PSP so why waste 300 notes on PS3 when I could one of only a handfull of good exclusive games at no cost (other than the game)

As an owner of LBP on PS3, i think it would be a great idea to release the game to a new market, namly people who cannot afford a PS3, and already own a PSP. However, i am almost certain it will be very simplifyed. All buttons on the dualshock3 are used in the game aswell as sixaxis and both sticks. So they will probably be dropping the sackboy emotions and parts of the create mode unfortunatly. But with most PSP's now signed up for PSN they can still keep the 'share' part!
