Former Official Nintendo Magazine editor becomes Brand Manager at Mark Cale’s publishing business
London-based games publisher System 3 has announced that the recently departed editor of Future’s Official Nintendo Magazine Chandra Nair has joined the firm as Brand Manager.
Nair’s first duty is to develop the publisher’s Ferrari Challenge brand into a market-leading franchise.
“With 13 years of experience across retail, publishing and marketing, not to mention being an avid racing and videogames fan, Chandra is the perfect person to grow System 3's current brands into global heavyweights,” System 3 CEO Mark Cale stated.
Nair himself added: “The gaming geek in me is really excited about working for a company with such a glowing video game heritage. And as a massive racing fan I'm giddy about the potential the Ferrari Challenge race engine holds. There's a small but extremely dedicated and passionate team here in Mayfair – couple that with the racing expertise at Eutechnyx and we're all set to take the chequered flag in 2009 and beyond.”
And in case you missed it, stepping into Chandra’s shoes as the new editor of Official Nintendo Magazine is none other than former MCV editor Neil Long.
