indies take note, we try to check all retailer chains for deals, so we dont get caught out on trade ins, it always makes me laugh when we have customers comin in with 3 360 games they got free from argos and want cash or trade, if they came to us we would offer a better discount on the games they actually want with their 360, but no they come to us 2nd, even though they dont even want these free games, we just lower are trade ins on these sealed bundle games, or even refuse some like viva pinata, etc

But you have to ask first do your local Argos stores actually have stock to sell to customers.. not just a few here and there.

Argos have typically done this before and never backed it up with physical product.

"even refuse some like viva pinata, etc"

Good idea, then you lose the "virgin" (aka the ones that only buy at this time of year) customers, hence why your competition welcomes any games and gains these as regulars. 1st rule of any indies, never refuse stock. Im sure other indy area managers will back me up! P.s the 2nd rule is to always tell your customers Game and Gamestation are the devil. :)
