Cancellation of PS3 version applies to North American market only; release delayed until February 2009
After stating yesterday that the PS3 version of the upcoming Destroy All Humans: Path of Furon had been cancelled due to ‘development issues’, it now appears that the Sony version of the title will still be coming to Europe.
However, the game’s released date has slipped from today until early next year.
VG247 quotes a THQ UK spokesperson as stating: “Destroy all Humans: Path of the Furon will be released on both the Microsoft Xbox 360 and Sony Playstation 3 formats on February 13th 2009 across Europe.
“Due to the game being shipped earlier in North America on December 2nd, a decision was made to proceed exclusively with the Xbox 360 format in that market.”

Perhaps there's something we're not being told, regarding Microsoft, exclusivity and money?
So all PS3 owners can still play it...
Considering PS3 games are all meant to be region free, all that this means is that if anyone in America REALLY wants to get the PS3 version, all they need do is buy it online from a UK retailer, and get it shipped over.
Might cost a little more than buying a game from the US, but at least everyone will be able to play it.
