Last Remnant heading to PC

Square Enix’s RPG goes multiplatform – though not to the format many were expecting

Japanese developer and publisher Square Enix has announced that its recent Xbox 360 RPG release The Last Remnant will be released on PC across all PAL territories next spring.

The format status of the game has been a constant source of speculation. For some time it was believed the game would be an Xbox 360 exclusive, and whilst a PS3 version is expected at some point, it is yet to be dated by the company.

“The Last Remnant represents a significant step in bringing our titles to a global audience and to all fans regardless of the platforms that they own,” Square Enix president and CEO John Yamamoto stated.

“Following the Xbox 360 release, we hope to reach a new audience with the Games for Windows version of The Last Remnant and I hope that fans enjoy this exciting new adventure.”
