Sony and Atari team up for a simultaneous video game and Blu-ray release, MCV can reveal
Atari has told MCV that Ghostbusters the video game will launch on Friday June 19th to coincide with the franchise's 25th anniversary.
The game features an all-new adventure from the film’s script writers, and reunites stars Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis and Ernie Hudson. The game will also be released alongside the Blu-ray launch of the Ghostbusters movie, which is being brought to market via Sony Pictures.
Hype for the ex-Vivendi title is continuing to build, and the game was recently featured on the cover of Official Xbox 360 magazine.
