Crime sim sequel now due to hit UK shelves on February 27th

Electronic Arts has revealed the release date for The Godfather II has been brought forward to February 27th.

It was previously announced the game would makes its UK debut a week later on March 6th, and will feature an exclusive in-game character for those that pre-order from selected retailers.

The Godfather II is set in the world of Mario Puzo’s Corleone mafia family and draws inspiration from both Puzo’s novels and the films. Players take control of the Corleone organisation as they attempt to become the most powerful mob syndicate in Florida, Cuba and New York.

publishers need to take advantage of tradionally quiet periods, especially summer, too many games come out in november/decemeber and some great games will get over looked and lost, normally we have to wait until march for any new titles, this year is alot better with killzone2,skate 2, LOR, and a few more titles, great news
