Dead Rising 2 to go multi-platform?

Big name Capcom sequels to be available on PS3 and Xbox 360, says report

According to the latest issue of Famitsu, Capcom is well underway on multi-platform sequels to Lost Planet and Dead Rising.

In an interview translated by Kotaku, Capcom veteran Keiji Inafune said: “We're finally putting out new Dead Rising and Lost Planet games! As a main principle we're thinking about multi-platform, and expanding upon both slightly from the Xbox 360 version.”

The news that Capcom will be looking to release its biggest titles on multiple platforms is nothing new, with the publisher stating in September last year that it has adopted a multi-platform strategy to ‘counter soaring costs of software development for next generation consoles.’

With the current economic state who can blame them if they want to make more money by going multi plat. All the Japanese studios/companies are doing it at the moment.
