With just a fortnight left to lobby, we provide a full guide to how you can win an award
Have YOU lobbied for an MCV Award yet? You have just over two weeks left to tell the MCV team why you should be a finalist in this year's MCV Industry Excellence Awards.
The MCV Awards return to The Brewery on Thursday April 23rd – and by lobbying the MCV team, you can nominate yourself or another oustanding invididual or company which has gone the extra mile in the last year.
To give us your suggestions on who should win on the night, email Lisa.Foster@intentmedia.co.uk.
We have revealed our step-by step guide to winning a trophy at the only awards voted for by the industry, for the industry. And if you want to be victorious on the night, you’ve got to let us know why.
This year’s awards are divided into three sections…

The People & Industry segment includes awards such as best Sales Team, Sales Triumph, Games Publisher, Development Team and Distribution Team. You can read more about each award in the category here.
There a few new awards in this year’s Retail category. The Retail Innovation award will reward the cleverest retail promotion of the year, whilst the Store Manager award will award the best chief of a single store and the High Street Retailer award will reward the finest bricks’n’mortar chain or indie that stocks video games. Other awards will include Star Store and Online Retailer. You can read more about each award in the category here.
The final category of voted-for awards comes in the shape of the PR and Marketing category. Here, nominees can win trophies for New Game Brand, PR Team, Game Campaign, Marketing Team and a new gong, Marketing Innovation. You can read more about each award in the category here.
Other awards include the Special Recognition award, voted for by MCV’s Retail Advisory Board Retail and the biggest prize of the night – the Grand Prix, voted for entirely by MCV.
You have until Monday February 16th to lobby. Email Lisa.Foster@intentmedia.co.uk now to let us know why your company should make the shortlist.
