Next-gen iteration to become racing sim and to be joined with two additional casual SKUs
Following the questions asked of the franchise just this morning, publisher EA has announced that its successful Need for Speed franchise is to get a radical three-SKU revamp in 2009, with the casual market being at the heart of the reinvention.

Not wishing to contradict you there but the origins of NFS are as a racing sim/arcade game (I remember it on the PC - aah, happy days) so you could say that this will be a true return to it's roots!
