JAPAN: Square Enix to publish Quantum of Solace

Final Fantasy publisher strikes deal with Activision Blizzard to take Bond’s latest to Far East

Publisher and developer Square Enix is to publish Activision Blizzard’s James Bond: Quantum of Solace on Xbox 360, PS3, Wii and PS2 in Japan, Andriasang reports.

The game, which is developed by Call of Duty: World at War studio Treyarch, was released alongside the film last year in Europe and North America.

Square Enix also has a Japanese publishing deal with Ubisoft. Such moves are becoming increasingly common, with Capcom publishing Rockstar’s increasingly popular Grand Theft Auto series in its home nation.

007: Nagusame no Houshuu, as it will be known in the territory, will be released on all platforms on March 26th.
