Nice try, but KZ2 with all the hype that it was suppose to get was suppose to destroy halowars. Halowars wasn't hyped even a tenth of that of KZ2.

You say all the sweeter because it beat halowars when you should be saying, wow I barely beat halowars.

well kz2 is a good game but not the ground breaking game sony hyped... I was considering buying a ps3 again, sold my last one after 3 weeks impulse buy) but after having a good playing session on kz2 i wait until ps3 finally gets a killer app. kz2 wasa good attempt but just lacks orginality..and the multiplayers is average at best....
Halo wars was a game i was expecting to be average but it turns out to be better than i expected. slightly simpliefied but that makes for some great multiplayer games. So well done HW and nice try KZ2... what will be interesting is to see if KZ2 is still there next week.. which i think be a very close race between that and Halo Wars. xbox 360 is really holding its own.. nice to see

Maybe its also says something else back to Sony: PS3 exclusives are still key.

well if 6 of my local stores are sold out till the 3rd shipment it cant be doing that badly.

If our store is anything to go by, Killzone 2 is outselling Halo Wars by about 4:1.
I would love to see actual numbers, but I dount MCV would post them, and risk upsetting their big advertiser Microsoft....

I hate when people say something like poster 3 its a good game but its not this or its lacks originality. like Halo have something that never been seen before and its a fact Halo Wars is the exact same thing as the first three but in a different gene.
then you have poster 1 face the facts Kz2 beat HW its no barly in it just give it the credit it deserve. KILLZONE 2 is great game in ever way. y'all know if it was for 360 y'all would buy the game

Killzone 2 is absolutely groundbreaking fps and I have played them all. Unless you own this game and have spent some serious time with it I suggest you not comment. I have all next gen systems and have played every fps from Halo series, Crysis and Crysis Warhead, Half Life Series, Counterstrike, Team Fortress 2, Call of Duty series (COD4 being my former favorite fps ever having played it every day for hours upon hours for a year straight holding 1st place 75% of the time), Resistance 1 & 2, Battlefield series, Unreal Tournament series, and on and on and on... Killzone 2 is miles better than all of them! Anyone who thinks any different clearly doesn't own the game and either hasn't played it or has barely touched it. I didn't think COD4 could be bested by Killzone 2 and frankly wasn't expecting much but now I have owned the game since launch and played it every day for hours and I can say without a glimmer of doubt that it is the greatest fps of all time. It's actually my very favorite game of all time. I love it waaaay better than Gears and Gears 2 (and that is saying a lot) and quite frankly Killzone 2 makes Halo 3 look like a piece of crap. Dont believe the naysayers. Believe the entire gaming press. Believe IGN, Gamespot, Kotaku, Giant Bomb, and the rest of the press. This game sets the bar so high it wont be bested for a long time and probably not until Killzone 3 comes out! It is absolutely the best, most addictive game I have ever played and from here on out is the ONLY fps that you need. It takes the best elements from all the great fps, improves upon them, and makes them into one unbelievably adrenaline-pumping bullet ridden shooter extravaganza that will grab you by the throat and wont let go! Excuse me but I hear Killzone 2 calling to me right now. MUST PLAY MUST PLAY. My 360 is going to be collecting dust for a loooooong time!
