Capcom’s title heading to both Xbox Live and PSN this summer; PS3 demo arriving this week

Street Fighter publisher Capcom is to bring one of its popular fighting series to Xbox 360 and PS3 this summer, with a download-only version of Marvel vs Capcom 2 now officially confirmed.

The game will be released on both Microsoft’s Xbox Live Arcade and Sony’s PlayStation Network, and is based on the acclaimed Dreamcast code. HD graphics will obviously be supported, along with a range of display modes to suit all types of TVs.

Online play is present and correct, and the publisher has also stated that the entire 56-strong character roster will be available from the off.

Furthermore, it has also been revealed that a PSN-only demo will be released this Thursday (April 30th) featuring six characters – Ryu, Chun Li, Spider-Man, Iron Man, Wolverine and Strider.

It's about time that this great beater is resurrected in some way, shape or form, it was one of my fave games!

Now, if only SF3 third strike was released in HD, that would be bliss!!! :)
