Capcom confirms digital PSP title for Europe

A spokesperson for Capcom Europe has confirmed to MCV that it will be publishing Fate/Unlimited Codes on the PlayStation Network in Europe and, as with the US, it will come at the expense of a UMD release.

Regarding future PSP plans and the long-expected industry-wide move from disc media to digital, the spokesperson remained more vague – though it dismissed suggestions that Capcom will not be releasing any future titles on Sony’s proprietary disc format.

We certainly do not intend to stop supporting UMD,” MCV was told. Certainly for us PSP is very important – more so with Monster Hunter coming – than maybe any other publisher.”
