PS3 to get all Xbox 360 content; New DLC on the way for all; New retail SKUs revealed
Bethesda has confirmed that its three until now Xbox 360 exclusive DLC releases are heading to PS3 – along with two new downloadable offerings heading to both consoles, along with the PC.
In addition, three new retail SKUs containing the various downloadable releases, as well as a complete Game of the Year pack, are set to arrive by Q4.
Bethesda’s debut Fallout 3 DLC, Operation: Anchorage, will arrive on Sony’s console next month. The Pitt will follow in July and Broken Steel in August or September.
Brand new download Point Lookout, which is described as a ‘massive new swampland area’, will be released on Xbox 360 and PC in late June and cost 800 Microsoft Points. The PS3 version will be released some time after Broken Steel – most likely September.
The second new piece of DLC, Mothership Zeta, sees aliens return to Fallout 3. They’re ‘pissed’, apparently, and on the lookout for human abductees. It will arrive on Xbox 360 and PC in late July for 800 Points and on PS3 some time after the arrival of Point Lookout.

On top of this, three new boxed retail SKUs are on the way. Fallout 3 Add-on Pack 1 includes The Pitt and Operation: Anchorage and will arrive on Xbox 360 and PC on June 12th. Fallout 3 Add-on Pack 2 will bundle Broken Steel and Point Lookout for the same formats in August. Neither of these boxed titles will be released for PS3.
Lastly, an all-inclusive SKU entitled Fallout 3 Game of the Year will be released in October and contain absolutely everything. Along with the Xbox 360 and PC, a PS3 SKU will also join the selection. The console versions will cost £39.99 and the PC SKU £29.99.
