The guessing games begins as Microsoft sends out teaser press invites
Microsoft is to hold a press event next week that will detail a new Xbox 360 content agreement that is in some way related to TV.
The invite reads: “Xbox is delighted to invite you to attend the announcement of a partnership sure to keep TV fans glued to Xbox Live”
Beyond that it’s anyone’s guess what the finer details will comprise. Some sort of iPlayer agreement seems to be the early favourite, though it really could be anything from live streaming TV to a selection of downloadable TV content a la iTunes.
The event takes place on May 28th.

You can access the iPlayer streaming service now on PS3. Downoads are not yet possible though. Was advertised as 'imminent' about a year ago.
