US release on August 24th; Nintendo UK says there’s nothing planned in Europe just yet
Nintendo has confirmed that space adventurer Samus Aran is to take the centre stage in its next Play Control release – Metroid Prime Trilogy.
The game will include GameCube pair Metroid Prime and Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, as well as Wii outing Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. All will include WiiMote support, widescreen output, certain graphical enhancements and a new Achievement-like reward system.
A North American release date of August 24th has been confirmed, but Nintendo UK has told MCV that there’s nothing set in stone for Europe as of yet. However, a European 2009 release must surely be a near certainty.
“Metroid Prime Trilogy puts the best first-person adventures all in one place, with a host of new additions that make these three timeless titles more engaging than ever,” Nintendo of America's executive vice president of sales and marketing Cammie Dunaway stated.
“A great deal of care and detail has gone into Metroid Prime Trilogy, providing long time fans with new ways to experience the games they love.”
The game will ship on one disc and is being handled by original Metroid Prime developer Retro Studios.

Nice
Impressive bundle. Potential to match the generosity of The Orange Box, perhaps? One thing is for certain; I loved the first game on the Cube, but never got around to playing the second one and sold my Wii before the third one because of unforseen expenses. This will most likely be the release to tempt me to get another Wii, now that finances are less tragic. Time to start saving. :)
Oh no!
Crap! I bought Metroid prime for the Gamecube less than a month ago because I never beat it, and now, I'm close to beating it. I should've waited a little longer for it to come out for the Wii and bundeled with the other Metroid Prime games.
sweet
I love all of the MP games and i am stocked about the trilogy. However I kinda think they should include the hunters kinda like a minigame cause even though that one sucked the first one kicked ass the second one had me sweating whenever i whent to the dark and Corruption was even better than the first if thats possible
