E3 ’09: The Boy Who Lived to get the LEGO treatment in 2010
Warner has announced it will be releasing LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 in 2010.
The latest Traveller’s Tales game will be based on the first four Harry Potter books and movies, allowing players to take on the role of Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger and a wealth of other characters.
“With LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4, we are creating an open wide-ranging experience within Hogwarts that is full of fun and LEGO magic,” said TT Games’ managing director Tom Stone.
“Harry Potter is one of the most beloved and well-respected characters, and we look forward to bringing gamers a new way of interacting in the universe with the LEGO games’ great humour and exploration.”
The game will follow the award-winning formula of previous LEGO games. Players will explore locations such as Hogwarts, Diagon Alley and the Forbidden Forest, while attending lessons, casting spells and mixing potions to earn points for their house
