E3’09: Direct downloads compliment new Media software for Sony handheld
Sony has confirmed that its video content service for PSP will soon be usable directly through the handheld, cutting out the need to download via PC or PS3.
In addition, Sony is to release a new version of its multimedia managing software for the PSP to coincide with the release of the now confirmed PSP Go.
Media Go is said to be better designed to allow for the transfer of digital content such as music and film for use on the move. The software is designed for use with the PC, but there’s been no mention of a Mac version just yet.
Media Go will be released this autumn.
