E3'09: NASCAR and WRC licences secured, as platform holder premieres gameplay video
After showing off Gran Turismo on PSP, Sony had an even bigger shock for racing fans at E3 audience today - a never-before-seen video of upcoming PS3 title Gran Turismo 5.
SCEA president Jack Tretton played the short video on stage, which won widespread applause from the crowd at Sony's conference.
Tellingly, both the coveted WRC and NASCAR logos were shown in the video - confirming that Sony's licences team has been hard at work to secure rights.

Looks great
Looks wonderful, but still no release date? Ah man!
Re: no release date
Yes always a bit worrying when we have no talk from the developers on a release date. However I'm gonna stick my neck out and say I reckon we're looking at a March 2010 release. The problem for Polyphony is that with such a long development time people really are expecting something exceptional... I only hope they can deliver.
