More testing pushes back digital launch of all three DLC level packs for Bethesda’s RPG
Having already missed its initial June release window, publisher Bethesda has confirmed that its DLC for popular post-nuclear RPG Fallout 3 has been delayed until later in the year.
Last month PS3 owners were supposed to get the Operation: Anchorage add-on pack, but now Bethesda says that it – as well as fellow DLC Broken Steel, The Pitt, Point Lookout and Mothership Zeta – will not begin rolling out until September.
The need for further testing was cited as the cause.
Furthermore, Broken Steel has been shunted to the front of queue and will be released first after the publisher revealed that it was by some distance the most requested expansion.
The problems will also push back the retail release of the PS3 Game of the Year edition, which will include the additional digital content.

Bethesda’s Fallout DLC has already had a tough time getting to gamers, with previous updates having to be withdrawn from Xbox Live shortly after release due to game-crippling bugs.

Why?
I am getting sick of lame excuses and second rate development teams. Sony haven't come up with alien technology ask the people at naughty dog they seem to know how to program for the PS3. I am playing Fallout now and hope to have some additional content before I finish it.
