Dutch dev studio says it’s taking a break from popular PS3 shooter
On the same day that a brand new map pack (entitled Napal & Cordite) is due for release, Dutch games developer Guerrilla Games has stated that it is to step away from Killzone 2.
Speaking on the EU PlayStation Blog, the developer’s Seb Downie stated: “Right now we’re going to take a step back from Killzone 2,” he said.
“We’ve been working non-stop since the disc version was released on patches, DLC and killzone.com updates, so need some time to reflect on what is actually out there.”
Whilst that doesn’t necessarily mean an end to any future DLC for the title, it suggests at the very least there may be a bit of a wait.

crap game
good this game is garbage
Good game
A shame, the game is awesome.
Now that that is out of the way I think Guerrilla are due a break, they have worked long and hard on this game for years now.

@darren emery:
You sound like another diseased Xbox fanboy trying to convince yourself you don't need a PS3 or this awesome game. Hundreds of thousands of people seem to be playing this game every week so your pitiful excuse for an opinion on this game is absolutely inconsequential.
GO FYS
I brought this game, its easy to complete but which game isnt
I still find myself playing Halo online more than I ever do with Killzone (rarely touch killzone to be fair anymore)
GO FYS
I like how people who whine about how a game is easy, only play it on easy or normal.
That's the point of difficulty settings, if the games too easy for you, you ramp it up. I'm playing it on hard and it's quite enjoyable.
kz2 disaster
kz2 is a great game, but it hasn't been the dream Sony and GG wanted it to be. Early issues with servers and controls turned a lot of the casual gamer crowd off permanently. Reminds me of the SOCOM debacle, but GG is much much better. Scads of 14 year olds went back to COD. The multiplayer is great, but not well populated. It will probably die when MW2 and MAG comes out. KZ3 and games built off the engine will rule, I'm sure.
