O2's exclusive iPhone deal ends October 9th

Orange and T-Mobile favourites to swoop in and stock Apple device

Although there has been plentiful speculation about O2 losing its iPhone exclusivity over the last few weeks, MCV's sister site Mobile Entertainment has seen documentation that states it will end officially on October 9th.

Orange and T-Mobile have been linked heavily with iPhone over the summer, and both networks already sell the device in other territories.

Mobile Entertainment has the full story.

..sorry i frogot to mention, i was in the Trafford Centre manchester, in the 02 shop discussing iphones and 02's exclusinve contract. The sales advisor told me that the exclusive contract wtih iphone and 02 was due to come to an end and other firms were in talks with iphone to move the product away from exclusive 02 ownership - this was to happen around early October 2009... so i hope that Orange get it.
